Fixed a problem related to the tire not previously resolved by Barretts of Canterbury in the two opportunities they had to fix it
Very customer focused
I was pleased when BMW got in touch with me to remind me about my MOT. As last year, we agreed to do the annual service at the same time. But this did not get through to the service dept which initially only did the MOT.
Vines are very friendly and try to help in whatever way we want
most of the issues seemed to have been resolved bar one outstanding, also highlighted in aprevious service
The service manager is the best I have experienced across any BMW dealership. Friendly, knowledgeable but most importantly he cared about the customer and about the cars that passes through

The vehicle was in the workshop for 5 days; not notified on the day the vehicle was ready for collection. Collected the vehicle and Saturday AM and noticed an unusual noise in the cabin. I have reported this and need to return the car to the workshop

This time the service dept was great. Barnaby arranged this at short notice via email from me and it was all done and dusted in 3 hrs with tyre change including. Excellent service.

Generally service is fast and efficient, this time I had to wait 2 hours for a tyre to be changed. I asked for the car not to be washed as I was in a hurry, but I did not expect it to come back with tyre adhesive left on the tyre and over the wheel
The highly priced quotations for general service maintenance are still a challenge where the specified job can actually be completed at more cost effectively.
Brakes are still somewhat noisy otherwise everything is ok. Site parking on the day was poor. Good customer facilities if you wait while your car is being serviced.
My car was booked in work carried out without hassle. Only negative, parking is a nightmare.
Although satisfied with the staff I felt that the three and a half hour wait for my car which was undergoing an MOT was somewhat excessive. It seemed that perhaps the problem was a Monday morning and an acute shortage of staff. I may be wrong.

I bought a used 420d from Vines and was pleased with the experience. I took my wife's 116D for the service there as was not happy with my local dealer in Bromley. Staff at Vines are pleasant and professional.

Car failed MOT on a bulge in the tyre, but I didn't receive a voicemail informing me of this until 1730. I had received a healthcheck report earlier in the day which was all green. They did provide a courtesy car for my trip however.

The original estimate of the time needed for the repair (given when booking at previous visit) turned out to be wrong by about 3 hours. However this was dealt with very well on the day by a discount

We are used to having our car serviced at BMW - and paying extra we expect the extra lengths you go to, sadly on this occasion the car was not washed/cleaned as usual - we were VERY disappointed

Couldn't fault the process
Found a couple of spots of 'grease' on the body work / starter button afterwards.
When the vehicle was returned the member of the service team didn't point out that there was an item that needed immediate attention. When the vehicle was rebooked for the part hadn't been order meaning an extra day in the garage.

I was pleased with the work done. However, I was told that the work would take 1.5 hours. It did but I had to wait another half hour for the paperwork.

Well organised, easy to work (as I wait) all servicing carried out to time.
Previously, work carried out was fully debriefed, I have yet to find out if all work was carried out, and was only informed that the gearbox had in effect been given a "crtl, alt, del" process. My concern was more mechanical than operation.

As I said above, the service team from reception to the engineers who work on the car and send you a service report are all polite and knowledgeable and I feel the service level at Vines is second to none.
Fabulous customer service, helpful engaging staff where nothing is too much trouble. Not the cheapest dealer in the world but probably the best overall value and customer experiance.

The experience was positive without hard sell but with good suggestions of options. The handover was very good with good explanation of functions and a willingness to explain further if required in particular areas
David Coomber the sales advisor was knowledgeable, courteous and helpful throughout the process. Everyone else I dealt with at the centre was polite & helpful.
It was delivered 3 weeks later than expected and it felt like it was delayed deliberately.
Issue with being chased by another sales person when Mario was not around, frustrating as Mario was fully aware of the position.
Order to delivery was achieved in 1 month, which was much quicker than I had anticipated! Overall the buying experience was excellent ably choreographed by Justin.

Good smooth service, including collecting me from Gatwick station. Good amount of time spent explaining the vehicle and comms/navigation system. Only adverse comment is when I sent emails there was no acknowledgement until I chased myself to check.
Generally we were very satisfied but you do not get top marks as I am still waiting for some promised answers

The team at Vine's treat you like an individual - I'm fortunate to have had the same sales advisor for a few years now and he knows exactly what I am after.
This was good, and the salesman was most helpful. The problem developed after delivery.
